Jim started his career working in retail operations, understanding the importance of delivering outstanding customer service whilst under strict budgetary and commercial controls.

Over the next twenty years, he moved into various other industries, working with some of the largest brands in the world – helping them achieve their sales and marketing goals.

From designing and implementing marketing campaigns to managing global sales teams, Jim learned how large corporations use frameworks to complete their day to day activities, and used these techniques to grow revenue for one company from £1.4m to £14m over five years.

In 2017, he created GainMore Solutions, a business growth consultancy, designed to help small and medium sized companies and their owners to deliver more and more importantly get more from their business. This was the foundation for BGF today.

Since starting the BGF processes, Jim has helped his clients generate approximately £95m of additional revenue, including helping one business move from a turnover of less than £100k to over £1.4m in just two years.

Having managed teams of up to 4,000 globally and working with businesses from local trades through to global powerhouses, Jim has helped business owners to really change their operations and commercial performance for the better and helped them gain clarity and more control over their time.
