We’re pre-revenue with 8 months of runway. Bridge round or cut burn?
Model both. A bridge buys time but signals weakness to your next-round investors if terms are punitive. Before raising, cut burn to 14+ months of runway on current cash — then raise from strength, not survival. What’s your current monthly burn and what’s driving it?
Burn is £42k/month — mostly two senior hires we made before pausing outbound. Cutting one stretches us to 14 months but slows enterprise pipeline work.
Then the decision isn’t bridge versus cuts — it’s which story investors will believe. Cut to 14 months, document what the senior hire was brought in to deliver, and only bridge if pipeline closes inside that window. I can sketch the investor narrative for each path if you share ARR targets and pipeline value.
